What store should I get pads?

You can literally get pads at almost any store that sells groceries or toiletries! Like, big supermarkets, drugstores, or even places like Target or Walmart. Most of them have a whole aisle dedicated to period products, and sometimes there are even smaller displays in the health or beauty sections.

It's cool to check out different brands and types when you're there. Some pads are super thin, some are really thick for heavy flow, and they come with or without wings. You can even find organic ones if you're into that. Don't be shy about looking around and seeing what feels right for you. Your first period might be light, so starting with regular or light pads is probably a good idea.

If you're feeling a little awkward asking a grown-up to go with you, it's totally okay to just grab them yourself, or ask a trusted adult to pick some up for you. There are so many options these days, so you'll definitely find something that works! Just make sure to tell a grown-up if you need help deciding or if you want to try different types.
