Okay so "Tanner stages" are just a way doctors describe how much your body has changed during puberty, and Tanner Stage 4 for breasts means they're getting pretty close to their adult size and shape, with the nipple and the dark area around it (the areola) usually standing out from the rest of the breast.

Basically, your body goes through stages as it grows, and for breasts, it starts super flat and then slowly they start to develop into little buds, then become more rounded. By Stage 4, they're not fully grown yet but they're getting there, and they might still keep growing a little after this stage. It's all just a normal part of growing up and every body is different, so when these changes happen is super unique to you.
