What are some other products could i use?

Okay so besides pads and tampons, there are a bunch of other products you can use for your period. It's really cool how many options there are now, and you just have to find what works best for you and your body.

Period Underwear

These are literally just underwear that have extra layers of super absorbent fabric built right in. They look like normal undies, but they soak up your flow so you don't need a pad or anything else. You just wear them, wash them, and reuse them. They come in different absorbencies, so you can get ones for lighter days or heavier days. They're super comfy and good for the planet because you're not throwing anything away.

Menstrual Cups

These are little cups, usually made of silicone, that you fold and insert into your vagina. They collect your period blood instead of absorbing it. You can wear them for up to 12 hours, then you take it out, empty it, wash it, and put it back in. It can take a little practice to get the hang of them, but once you do, a lot of people are obsessed with how long they can wear them and how much they hold.

Reusable Pads

These are like regular pads but made of cloth, so you can wash them and use them again. They usually have wings that snap around your underwear to keep them in place. They're soft and another great eco-friendly option if you like the feel of a pad but want something reusable.
