My discharge is like a creamy and watery mix and it is light pink so does that mean it’s normal or something’s wrong?!

Okay, so light pink, creamy, and watery discharge is super normal, especially when you're getting close to your period or just after it. Your body is probably just doing its thing and getting ready for a period, or maybe cleaning up after one.

What it means

Discharge changes color and texture all the time, and pink usually means there's a tiny bit of blood mixed in with your normal discharge. It's not usually anything to worry about. It can happen for a bunch of reasons:

• Before your period: Sometimes it's like a little sneak peek that your period is about to start. Like, 'hey, just warming up!'
• After your period: Your body might be clearing out the last bits of blood from your period.
• Ovulation: When your body releases an egg (that's ovulation), some people get a little bit of pink discharge around then too.

When to tell a grown-up

Most of the time, pink discharge is totally fine. But if it's got a really strong, weird smell, or it's making you super itchy or uncomfortable, then it's a good idea to tell a trusted grown-up so they can help you figure out what's going on. They can make sure everything is okay, which it probably is!
