I’ve been getting some weird stuff until my period started. What does that mean?

Okay so that "weird stuff" you're talking about sounds like discharge, and it's totally normal for it to show up a few months before your period actually starts. It's like your body's way of getting ready for your first period.

What it is

Discharge is just a clear or white liquid that comes out of your vagina. It's basically your body's self-cleaning system, keeping things healthy down there and protecting you from infections. It's usually pretty thin and maybe a little sticky.

What to do about it

You don't really need to do anything about it, because it's just a normal body thing. If it feels a little wet, you can wear a panty liner, but it's not a must.
