I’m really nervous about my period already. I have pads in my bag, wet wipes and clean underwear but I’m still really nervous

Soso answered

It's totally normal to feel nervous about your period, even when you're super prepared. You've literally thought of everything and that's awesome. Having everything ready can definitely help you feel more confident when your period actually starts.

First periods can be a little surprising because you don't always know when they're coming or what they'll be like. But once you get that first one out of the way, it gets so much easier because you know what to expect. And guess what? You're already doing all the right things by having your period kit ready to go.

Remember, you're not alone in this! Lots of kids feel nervous about their first period. It's a big change for your body, and it's okay to feel whatever you feel about it. The more you know, the less scary it gets, and the Soso app can really help with that because it's built just for first cycles and explaining things.

Today my friend told me that she got her period a little over a month ago. I felt kinda emotional but i waited till i got home to let it out. I don’t really know why i was upset i think it’s because we are very similar in terms of development so I wasn’t expecting her to get it before me and it makes me want my period so much more

Soso answered

Okay so it totally makes sense to feel a bit emotional and even a little jealous when your friend gets her period, especially if you two are usually super in sync. You are not alone in feeling this way, seriously. It's like, you've been…
