I got my period and my friend picked when she gets her period. What should I say to her?

Okay, so periods aren't really something you can pick or choose when they happen. Everyone's body is different, and everyone starts their period at their own time, and that's totally normal.

You could tell your friend that periods just kinda show up when your body is ready, and it's not like you get to put it on your calendar beforehand.
