Phew, okay so the first period usually happens when you're between 10 and 15 years old. Right now, being born in 2016 means you're super young, so it's probably not going to start anytime soon. Your body usually needs a few years of growing and changing to get ready for that whole thing.

There are usually some pretty clear signs that your body is getting ready for your period, like your breasts starting to develop or having some white or yellowish discharge in your underwear for a few months.
