Okay so yeah, it's totally possible for someone to get their period even if they don't have super obvious puberty signs like full-on boobs or lots of hair yet. Everyone's body is on its own schedule, and puberty isn't like a checklist where everything happens in the exact same order or at the exact same speed for everyone. My bestie's cousin literally started her period with barely any boob development, and it was still completely normal for her.

Usually, breast buds (like little bumps under your nipples) are one of the first signs, and pubic hair usually starts growing too. But sometimes other things are happening on the inside before you see all the outside stuff. So you might not have a ton of hair or lots of zits, and then bam, your period shows up. It's just how some bodies do it!
