I've had hair 'down there', discharge, and a growth spurt, and my breasts are really developing, all for over a year and a half. Could my period still be far away?

Okay, so it sounds like you're literally checking off all the boxes for puberty signs, and that's awesome! With pubic hair, breast development, a growth spurt, and discharge happening for over a year and a half, your period is probably not very far away at all. Those are all totally normal signs that your body is getting ready for its first period. Breast buds are usually the first sign of puberty, and then pubic hair starts growing, and then you get a growth spurt. The discharge you're seeing (that clear or whitish liquid that shows up in your underwear) is usually one of the very last signs before your period starts, typically a few months before.

It can take a little while for everything to line up, even after these signs show up. But based on what you're saying, your body is really doing all the right things to get ready. You're doing great!
