I haven’t gotten my period yet

It's totally okay if you haven't gotten your period yet because everyone's body is on its own schedule. Most girls get their first period between ages 10 and 15, but it can totally happen earlier or later, so there's no rush.

Your body usually gives you some hints that your period is getting close! You'll probably start to notice your breasts developing, which can happen a few years before your first period. Another big sign is getting some white or yellowish discharge in your underwear, which usually means your period is about to start in the next 6 to 12 months. And you might notice a growth spurt where you suddenly get taller, which is super common before your period arrives.
