How do you notice that your boobs are growing?

Okay so you definitely notice your breasts growing because the first sign is usually that your nipples start to get puffy or stick out more. Some people also notice a little bump forming under their nipple, kind of like a tiny mound. This is literally called a 'breast bud' and it's the very beginning of breast development.

It might feel a little sore or tender when they first start to grow, kind of like a bruise, especially if you bump into something or when you're wearing your bra. That's totally normal because your body is doing a lot of work right there! Sometimes one breast starts growing before the other, so don't worry if they seem uneven at first – they usually even out over time.

Your clothes might start fitting differently, like maybe your shirts feel a little tighter around the chest. This is one of the later signs though, usually after the breast buds have been there for a while. You might also notice that you need a bra, not just for support, but also because you feel more comfortable having something to cover or protect them. It's all part of your body changing and growing during puberty, and it happens to everyone who gets breasts.
