What does it mean if your discharge is a little bit red

Okay, so if your discharge is a little bit red or brownish, it usually means there's a tiny bit of blood mixed in with it, and that can be totally normal.

What it means

Sometimes it's just your period starting really, really slowly. Like, literally your body is preparing for it and that little bit of color is the first sign. It can also happen at the very end of your period as it taps out, because old blood can look brownish. What to do about it

Usually, you don't need to do anything about a little bit of red or brown discharge. If it happens sometimes, just keep an eye on it.
