Should a 6th grader know how babies are made? Without their parents telling them

Okay so whether a 6th grader "should" know how babies are made is totally up to their grown-ups, and when they feel like it's the right time to talk about it.

Lots of kids start learning about it in school around that age, or they hear things from friends. It's super normal to be curious about bodies and where babies come from, because literally everyone has a body and everyone was a baby once. It's just part of growing up and understanding how things work.

Some grown-ups like to tell their kids themselves, and some are okay with them learning in other ways, like from books or school. There's no one right way to do it. The most important thing is that when you have questions about your body or how babies are made, you have a grown-up you trust that you can ask. They can help you understand things in a way that makes sense for you, and without making it weird.
