My mom got her period she was in 8th grade it is the summer right now I’m going into 6th but I have all of the signs and the quiz says in the next few monrhs

It's totally normal for your period to show up at a different time than your mom's, even if you're feeling all the signs and the quiz says it's close for you. Everyone's body is different, so even though periods usually start between 10 and 13, it's not like there's a strict schedule we all follow.

Like, your body might just be doing its own thing, and that's usually awesome. The big signs like breast buds growing and getting some white or yellowish discharge are usually a good hint that your period is coming in the next year or two. And that growth spurt where you feel like you're suddenly taller? That's another big one, so if you've had that, your body is definitely getting ready.
