If I’m spotting is that a sign of my 3rd period?

Spotting can totally be a sign that your period is coming, especially in the first couple of years when your body is still figuring things out.

Okay, so spotting is like, when you see a little bit of blood, but it's not enough to be a full period. It might be light pink, red, or even brownish. For a lot of people, spotting happens a few days before their period officially starts, or sometimes even in the middle of their cycle. Your hormones are doing a lot of work right now, and sometimes they're like, 'Wait, is it period time yet? Almost!' so you get a little preview.

It's super normal, especially when your cycles are still new and getting regular. But if you're spotting a lot, or if it feels weird, you can always mention it to a grown-up just to be sure everything's chill.
