Okay, so when you're looking at your breasts, they usually start off kinda flat, right? Then, as puberty kicks in, the first thing that happens is a small bump forms under your nipple. This is literally called "breast buds" and it kind of looks like a little mound, sometimes only on one side at first, which is totally normal.

Then, over time, that bump gets a bit bigger and the darker skin around your nipple, called the areola, also gets a little bit raised. After that, your breasts keep growing, getting rounder and fuller until they reach their adult size. It can take a few years for them to fully develop, so don't worry if it feels like it's taking forever. Everyone is super different, and some people grow faster than others.

It's totally normal for one breast to start growing before the other, or for them to be slightly different sizes even after they're developed. Most people aren't perfectly symmetrical anyway, so it's all good.
