Or it could be some skin irritation there, perhaps because of soap, or underwear that doesn't let the skin breathe properly.

What to do

The best thing is to talk to a trusted adult, like your mom, dad, or the person who takes care of you. They can help you see a doctor or gynecologist, who is the doctor that takes care of women's health. It's super important to go, because only a doctor can figure out exactly what it is and recommend the right treatment.

In your daily life, try to wear cotton underwear, which is cooler, and don't use perfumed soaps down there. Just clean water is enough to wash the vulva – the outside part. And of course, don't scratch, even if you really want to, because it can make things worse.

Taking care of your intimate health is super important, so don't be ashamed to talk to an adult!
